Cocktail of the Week: Seeking Balance

I haven't been very good at keeping up with the "Cocktail of the Week" portion of my blog lately. The last couple months have been busy, a little bit tumultuous, and completely demanding of my time and attention. Fortunately, the worst looks to be over, and I look forward to devoting my time once again to the great mixological arts.

If the last couple of months have taught me one thing, it is the importance of balance in one's life. Work, friends, health, and day-to-day stressors can make you lose sight of what is actually important; doing something you like doing. With that in mind, this week's contribution to my cocktail collection is the aptly named "Seeking Balance."

This cocktail bridges the gap between spicy, bitter, and sweet, for a balanced and delicious experience. When you can't decide on a flavor for your next drink, or you are struggling to figure out your next steps in life, my advice is the same. Seek balance.
